Becca has over 20 years of experience in the Library & Information Science field. She has worked with a variety of asset types both physical and digital for organizations ranging from state government and private art collections to large corporate collections. Her skills lie in creative research, rights management, metadata creation, structured data process, taxonomy model building, and DAM/MAM selection and implementation. She enjoys the strategy involved in breaking down large, complex projects into accomplishable tasks, always with the end user in mind.
Most recently, Becca was at Nike where she stood up the Global Brand Marketing Information Management program and was a key cross-functional team member in building and implementing a large scale global DAM. With her team, they managed over 1 million raw and final creative assets, making them searchable, findable, and rights managed throughout the entire asset lifecycle.
Becca holds her MLIS from the University of Texas, Austin and her BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. She currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband, tuxedo cat, and former street dog.
