Amy Rudersdorf brings to AVP nearly 25 years of experience guiding organizations toward smart, future-focused decisions about how to manage and maximize the value of their digital assets. She has supported dozens of GLAM institutions, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies—including a major athletic-wear brand and a large hospital group—through DAM selection, requirements gathering, RFP development, and implementation planning. Amy’s human-centered approach focuses on aligning people, process, and technology so organizations can manage and use their digital assets with clarity and confidence.

While DAM selection is at the core of her practice, Amy also has deep experience across the full digital asset lifecycle, including metadata strategy, digital operations, governance, and long-term stewardship. Her background running DAM and digital preservation programs in academic, government, and nonprofit settings brings a grounded, pragmatic perspective that clients value.

Recent projects at AVP include leading DAM selections for one of the U.S.’s largest public libraries and a major healthcare organization, developing digital strategy for a small mission-driven nonprofit, supporting AI-driven metadata capture for audiovisual content, and implementing a DAM for a major music-streaming service.

Amy holds an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her family and a very gentle pit bull—who will likely be sleeping under her desk when you meet with her.
