BWF MetaEdit and AVI MetaEdit Updates

We are excited to announce the release of updated versions of BWF MetaEdit and AVI MetaEdit. These tools were: initially funded by the Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration and FADGI; designed and led by AVPreserve, and developed by Jerome Martinez of MediaArea. Thanks to Jerome for his great work on performing these much needed updates!

The latest updates include the following:
BWF MetaEdit Version 1.3.2
• Added support for the latest versions of Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL/CentOS…
• Updated third party libraries (e.g. Qt)
• Added command-line option for outputting an XML report to a specific file
• Fixed issues with drag and drop on newest versions of macOS
• Fixed sync issues between sample count and translated timestamp
• Fixed issue where unknown loudness was stored as 0x0000 when the specification says it must be 0x7FFF
• Fixed issues with CodingHistory on macOS
• Fixed issue with CodingHistory not correctly reading history with carriage returns
• Fixed crashing issues and improved stability
• Fixed several minor issues with UMID editor
AVI MetaEdit Version 1.0.1

• Fixed potential file corruption (insertion of 2 padding bytes instead of 1) when re-writing files
