In 2011 The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, in collaboration with the audiovisual heritage network AVA_net published a collection of essays on the topic of digital preservation entitled Making Invisible Assets: The Preservation of Digital AV Collections. The book is available for only the cost of shipping from Sound and Vision. AVP Senior Consultant Kara Van Malssen was one of the international professionals commissioned to write an essay for the collection.
