Jason Ulsh has 15 years of experience bridging the gap between human needs and technical capabilities. He applies cognitive ethnography and user-centered design principles to help organizations successfully navigate complex data and asset management landscapes. His diverse experience spans a wide range of sectors, enabling him to tailor innovative, practical solutions that address the unique challenges of each client. He is passionate about transforming unwieldy processes into efficient, sustainable workflows that enhance organizational clarity and performance.

Jason’s current focus is aligning client needs with vendor solutions, through system selection, optimization, and configuration. Recent projects include helping a University select a system-wide Media Asset Management platform, configuring a Digital Asset Management platform for a multinational Apparel and Footwear manufacturer, and building a video storage solution for a large hospital’s medical procedure videos.

Jason holds a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan and a BS in Cognitive Science from the University of California San Diego.  He lives in Detroit with his spouse, two energetic children, and two cats, any of whom may show up in meetings occasionally.
